Death Rowからの超話題のサントラにおいて、翌年のアルバム発表に向けてDPG名義の曲が次々とリリース、またDreとIce Cubeのニューユニットが噂される中でのコラボ曲発表。
そしてそのDreの実弟Warren Gがいち早くDeath Rowを飛び出しソロアルバムを発表するなど、Death Row関係がにぎやかなら、元祖West Coast、Eazy Eも秘蔵っ子Boneをデビューさせ、2Pacもニュープロジェクト“Thug Life”を始動、またBay Areaから個性的なアーティストが続々とデビューするなど、西海岸全体が盛り上がりまっくった年。
